Apocalypse Girl #2 releases tomorrow; #3 all complete!

Turning in the pages for Apocalypse Girls#3 to the publisher tomorrow. This issue was soooo hard, for so many reasons. TONS of moving parts to the plot that literally could not be nailed down 100% until the very last narrative and dialogue was on the pages, and even then, it required a couple of 11th hour revisions, but I’m feeling good about it. Real good. I needed that. BTW: #2 should come out from the publisher, Insane Comics, LLC tomorrow, I think, so keep an eye out. Links will be shared.

Every time an issue is complete and turned in, it’s like a giant weight lifted. Can’t wait to have this series done. The funniest part, for me, will be sitting down to read the entire thing when it’s all together at the end. Comics are one of the oddest mediums ever, because even as a creator, you probably don’t see the entire work until right around the same time everyone else does. It’s strange like that.

“Les Garner’s Apocalypse Girl” officially signs for publication with Insane Comics!!!

—- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE —-

Insane Comics is pleased to announce the next title to be offered from their latest round of submissions – Les Garner’s Apocalypse Girl

Ashes and dust. That’s all that was left of the old world.

Sometimes Jedediah would try to tell me stories of how it used to be, but I couldn’t relate. He’d try to tell me about the war, but it was hard to listen when you were starving.

He had a word for what happened to the world. “APOCALYPSE”

Coming this winter from INSANE COMICS!
